I've always made things. When I was little it was ultra-dramatic plays that were basically my favorite Disney plot lines crammed into one story, acting out Romeo and Juliet with my stuffed animals in the mirror (I was Romeo), and unicorn cross stitches I really wish I still had.
Growing up in Missouri gave me a love of DIY anything, and I'm still obsessed with making things. I fall more and more in love with the creative process every time, even when I want to pull my hair out or rip up my painting.
I think there's nothing more magical than taking an experience and funneling it through your thoughts, emotions, preferences and soul and then expressing it out into the world. That alchemy is holy to me. Add in some collaboration and I am blissed out :)
